The application window for the event, which is presented by the Brewers Association, will run for two weeks from the end of October.

The global competition runs every two years in conjunction with the Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America.

It is designed to “create greater consumer awareness about different beer styles and flavour profiles while promoting international brewing excellence”.

Last year, 6,596 beers were entered from 1,907 breweries representing 55 countries. These were assessed by 253 judges from 31 countries.
