Rainbow Project beers set for 2017 release

The project, originally created by Siren Craft Brewing, partners seven UK brewers with seven from the US to produce a beer inspired by each of the rainbow’s seven colours.

In 2017, Magic Rock were drawn to team up with Vermont’s Casita Cervecería to create a beer inspired by the colour red.

Partizan were partnered with Colorado’s New Belgium (orange); Beavertown with Texas’ Jester King (yellow); Hawkshead with California’s Modern Times (green); Siren with California’s Sante Adairius (blue); Wild Beer Co. with Missouri’s Side Project (indigo) and Burning Sky with Indiana’s 3 Floyds (violet).

Siren marketing manager Andy Nowlan explained: “What makes the Rainbow Project unique is that it creates collaborations that would never otherwise happen.

“Some of the most imaginative and exciting brewers from the UK and US pair up to exchange ideas and advice, recipe development and, in some cases, ingredients and equipment – the result is some of the most innovative beer in world brewing.”

People can enjoy the beers  for the first time at Leeds between 7th-10th September. Hawkshead Beer Hall (Friday 8th), The Beavertown Extravaganza (Friday 8th-9th), Bristol Craft Beer Festival (15th-17th) and Indy Man (29th Sept-1st Oct) will also be serving the full selection of collaborations.
