Tiny Rebel has worked with Sony Pictures on two new beers to celebrate the release of the new film ’28 Years Later’.
Launching on 22nd May, 28 days before the film hits the big screen, ‘2’ is a blood orange liqueur-infused IPA described as having “an infectiously juicy bite”, and ‘8’ is a tropical pineapple IPA “that’s as bold as it is refreshing”.
The IPAs aren’t just made to be enjoyed on their own, pour them both over ice in a pint glass, add a spirit of your choice, and you’ve got the makings of your very own dangerously delicious Singapore Sling-style drink, the company said.
“This is more than beer; it’s a celebration of a genre-defining moment in film. ‘2’ and ‘8’ are brewed to be as bold, unexpected, and unforgettable as the movie itself, and are just as good enjoyed separately as they are together – creating for our fans their own rite of passage as they watch the protagonists embark on their very own journey.
“We’re all about great times and great beer, so celebrating this epic film with equally as epic IPAs was a no-brainer,” explained Tiny Rebel co-founder Brad Cummings.
“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Tiny Rebel on the cinematic event of the year. Their bespoke brews for 28 Years Later are a brilliant twist on the unexpected, and the perfect way to bring the film to life beyond the cinema,” added Peter Staines, Director of Partnerships & Promotions, Sony Pictures Releasing.
