Neptune Brewery marks new chapter with brand refresh

Liverpool-based Neptune Brewery is celebrating more than 10 years in the industry with a refreshed new look.

The independent business has long been known for its trademark trident, making its vegan-friendly beers instantly recognisable in pubs and bars across the country.

Since launching in 2015, Neptune has built a strong and dependable reputation in a market that has only grown increasingly saturated when it comes to choice.

The new look reflects that journey, bringing a sharper focus to the brewery’s dedication to creating honest, natural beer for the communities it serves.

The refreshed identity – which spans packaging, website and trade materials – remains rooted in Neptune’s heritage.

A refined trident stays at the heart, honouring the brand’s origins and long-standing commitment to quality brewing, whilst a shift in colour and design signals its place in a modern, evolving industry, the company said.

Speaking about the rebrand, co-owner and head brewer, Les O’Grady, said: “It wasn’t about chasing trends. We’ve always stood for brewing great beer which respects the traditions of the industry whilst bringing a modern edge, and this change simply reflects that. In 2026, standing at a bar can feel overwhelming, there’s more choice than ever, whether that’s beer styles or eye-catching pump clips.

“We know that when people see the trident, they can rely on a quality Neptune beer – made using natural ingredients and never cutting corners. This new look builds on that trust.

“We’ve refined what was already there to give customers even more confidence and clarity in their choice. As a family business, we answer to the people who drink our beer, and we want our brand to feel as honest as what’s in the glass.”

The brewery’s core range now adopts a more consistent and streamlined design, while rotational and seasonal brews retain a colourful edge – bringing variety while still sitting comfortably within Neptune’s evolving identity.
