Loch Lomond Brewery doubles supermarket sales

Loch Lomond Brewery has experienced a significant increase in sales of its beers in Aldi Scotland and is marking the milestone with the launch of three new beers at the retailer.

The brewery saw sales skyrocket 57% so far in 2026, which is the equivalent of 77,000 extra cans of its beers being sold

The new offerings comprise Climb Every Mountain, a 5.5% Vienna Lager; Grand Tour, a 5.5% West Coast IPA; and also Sunset Grill, a 5.5% Red IPA.

The brewery has been a supplier to Aldi Scotland since 2013 while production at the business has grown from approximately 150,000 pints annually at the start of the collaboration to nearer 1.5 million pints in 2026.

Fiona MacEachern, the managing director at Loch Lomond Brewery, said: on the new releases: “We’ve had a great time crafting these three beers, and we can’t wait to see them land ahead of the winter months, when we hope they’ll become firm favourites with shoppers.

“A Vienna-style lager for Oktoberfest was a natural next step for our Aldi partnership, and a proper West Coast IPA is one we’ve wanted to make for a while.”

MacEachern added: “We love working with the Aldi team. What began as the odd listing has grown into an ever-present and evolving range, and we’re already looking ahead with them to plan the beers we’ll bring to shoppers in spring 2027.”
