Tickets are flying out the door for the inaugural Brewers Congress.

The event takes place at the prestigious Institute of Civil Engineers at One Great George Street, off Parliament Square, in London on the 27th November, 2017.

We’ve put together a lineup of speakers that features some the most forward-thinking, boundary-pushing figures from in-and-around the brewing industry.

These are complemented by a wealth of leading manufacturers and suppliers that represent the diverse spectrum of equipment, ingredients, finance, consulting and more.

So if you’ve yet to pick up your ticket, here are five reasons why the Brewers Congress will be the UK’s premier industry gathering.

Our keynote is being delivered by a brewing legend, in the truest sense of the word

Sir Godfrey (Geoff) Palmer OBE is Professor Emeritus in the School of Life Sciences at Heriot-Watt University. He discovered the Barley Abrasion Process in 1969, a process patented and used by the British brewing industry. He was also the first person to utilise the Scanning Electron Microscope to study malt production in detail. Palmer, who was knighted in the New Year Honours list in 2014 for services to human rights, science and charity, has taught and inspired many figures in brewing that have gone on to become pillars of the industry in their own right.

Community, Conversation and Camaraderie

We have held successful lecture events in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bristol. Each event has brought people together, resulting in the forging of new business relationships, beer collaborations and the sharing of ideas. On the 27th November, there will be nowhere better to be if you want to develop your brewing industry business.

Learn from some of the best breweries producing beer today

Ask a fan of great beer to recommend some of the best breweries going, and you’re certain to be given names such as Cloudwater, Beavertown, Fuller’s, Northern Monk, Lost and Grounded Brewers, Lervig, Tiny Rebel, Yeastie Boys and Wild Card Brewery. Head brewers and brilliant business minds from these fantastic breweries are all speaking and sharing their experiences at the Brewers Congress.

Build and better your brewing business

In addition to a feature-rich lecture programme, the Brewers Congress brings together some of the most respected manufacturers and suppliers that serve the indusry. The Expo part of the day can be found in the venue’s prestigious Great Hall and we’ve ensured that attendees have leading businesses from across the industry to engage with. These include Simply Hops, Lallemand, Muntons, QCL, Brewers Association, Anton Paar, Cara Technology, Cask Brewing Systems, Dixon Europe, Enterprise Tondelli, Erben, Hpe Process, Johnson Brewing Design, Kemtile, Moorgate Finance, Murphy & Son, Palmer Canning, Rankin and Rastal.
