Mondo Brewing Company has announced the release of Sophie, a 4.2% hazy pale ale brewed for International Women’s Day, with 50% of profits donated to Spark The Noise, an award-winning charity working at the intersection of gender justice and the music industry.
Sophie is a 4.2% hazy pale ale, brewed to be smooth, soft, and refreshing, with a modern haze, gentle bitterness, and vibrant hop aroma. The beer is designed for approachability and repeat enjoyment, focusing on drinkability
While Spark The Noise helps amplify the voices of girls, women, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people through music-making and community building.
Sophie was designed and brewed by the women of Mondo and inspired by the life and artistry of SOPHIE, championing women and non-binary musicians, music lovers and hospitality workers both near and far with artwork by Nina Sweeney.
Mondo will launch Sophie on Thursday 5th March from 6PM at Mc & Sons in Vauxhall, bringing together London’s hospitality, music and brewing communities for an evening of beer, fundraising and celebration.
On the night, Sophie will be pouring fresh on draught from 6PM, with a charity raffle running throughout the evening – guests can donate directly to the chosen charity, show proof of donation, and receive raffle tickets for the chance to win exciting prizes. From 9PM, live music will take over, turning the launch into a full celebration of the communities the beer was brewed to support.
