Envases has launched of a new 5-litre draught keg that is designed to deliver the “ultimate draft beer experience directly” to consumers’ homes.

The keg features an integrated CO₂ cartridge that ensures consistent pressure without the need for pumps or external CO₂ sources. Users chill the keg, insert the tap, activate CO₂, and pour.

The keg is made from just two materials—steel and plastic—simplifying the recycling process, fostering a circular economy, and meeting and staying ahead of evolving regulatory standards, including the upcoming PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation).

The filling process is conducted through a central opening, ensuring efficiency and hygiene, the company said.

They also added that the draught keg meets UN transport legislation standards, ensuring full compliance for international logistics.

Whether shipped by road, sea, or air, the keg is tested and certified for safe handling and transport.
