Stone & Wood UK brand ambassadors Ryan Meade and Cale Watts have struck a deal with Lion, the owner of Stone & Wood, to exclusively produce and distribute Stone & Wood Pacific Ale draught beer in the UK and Ireland under their newly launched company, Froth Distribution.
In the early days of Stone & Wood’s UK operation, Pacific Ale was exported to the UK from its home in Byron Bay. But in 2019, Lion expanded the operation and began brewing locally at Thornbridge Brewery in Derbyshire.
This landmark deal will see it continue to be produced there, now under Froth’s stewardship.
“Today marks an exciting day in the Stone & Wood UK story,” Cale Watts said. “Ryan and I are delighted to be partnering with Lion to ensure that Pacific Ale draught beer will be available in the UK and Ireland.”
“For us to launch Froth it was essential to keep producing Pacific Ale draught beer with Thornbridge, because quality is paramount. We have a great relationship with them, as we do with our logistics partners who are also on board. Everything will continue as it has been for the past 7 years.”
Lion also expressed its gratitude to Ryan and Cale for maintaining Stone & Wood’s brand values in the UK and look forward to Pacific Ale’s continued success under Cale and Ryan’s leadership.

In addition to Stone & Wood Pacific Ale draught beer, Froth Distribution also plans to curate a small distribution portfolio of premium breweries and brands.

We want to be able to offer drinks that we are passionate about as that is what we believe our customers will buy into.’’
