Firebrand Brewing Co has launched Silent Night, a “comforting winter ale” designed specially for the festive season.
The beer, which is made with Admiral and Cascade hops, delivers delicious citrus and spice flavours with a refreshing dry, bitter finish, perfect for cold winter nights and Christmas celebrations.
Firebrand Brewing Co was forged in 2012 was founded in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall.
The idea was born from a passion for beer made from all-natural ingredients, Cornish spring water and American hops. Now based in a purpose-built brewery in Launceston, using the finest ingredients and a dedication to quality, their mission is to ‘Go Beyond The Usual’, encouraging drinkers to explore new flavours and discover something different with every sip.
Head brewer and co-owner, Joe Thompson, started brewing in 2009 at which time he was the youngest brewer in the country at 21 years old.
Originally working with Penpont Brewery, which focused on traditional ales, he wanted to brew a more modern style so created Firebrand Brewing Co. Passionate about brewing a high-quality product, Joe has instilled in his team the importance of using the best ingredients from around the world to create Firebrand’s beers.
Silent Knight will be launched in late October and it will be available throughout the festive season from www.firebrandbrewing.co.uk and other retail outlets, RRP £3.50 per 440ml can.
