Beavertown announce two festive beers

Beavertown Brewery has announced the launch of two new festive beers in time for the Christmas season. Spresso, a coffee stout created in collaboration with pioneering coffee company, Climpson & Sons and Saint Neck’olas; Neck Oil’s festive cousin.

At 4.3%, SaintNeck’olas is designed for fans of Neck Oil but wished it was “a bit more Christmassy”. The festive session IPA has a hue “redder than Ruldolph’s nose itself” thanks to natural red colouring from carrot and blackcurrant.

Also new is the return of Spresso. Formerly a 9% Imperial Stout, the beer is now a 6% release. Collaborating with Climpson & Son coffee company, Spresso is an ink black coffee stout made using chocolate malt and midnight oil coffee concentrate.

“Boasting flavours of smooth coffee, sweet fruit and cocoa with a caffeine kick, you should be ready to sleep again by roughly next Christmas,” the brewery said.
