The Brewers Congress and Brewers Choice Awards now take place on the 7th and 8th December, 2021.

The London event, organised by the team behind The Brewers Journal, will be held at The Brewery in the City of London this winter.

Tim Sheahan, editor of The Brewers Journal, said: “By moving the Brewers Congress and Brewers Choice Awards to December, we will be able to present an event that celebrates everything that makes the brewing industry great.”

Brewers Choice Awards: Entry deadline extended

The deadline for submissions to the Brewers Choice Awards is now 31 August.

However, if you wish to enter the ‘Beer of the Year’ or ‘New beer of the Year’ categories, you can submit entries from now up until the deadline.

By submitting entries during 2021, you can showcase your beers at their very best and in the condition you intended. These will be judged on a regular basis throughout the year by our panel of experts, which include:

Melissa Cole: Award-winning beer writer, author and Certified Cicerone
Paul Davies: Accredited Beer Sommelier and founder of Ale Hunters Brewery Tours
John Keeling: Former brewing director of Fuller’s and chairman of London Brewers’ Alliance
Lotte Peplow: American craft beer ambassador in Europe for the Brewers Association
