Lehui UK, part of the Asian brewing equipment manufacturer Ningbo Lehui International, has established a new UK base in Yorkshire.
The company has opened the new site in Springfield Mill, Farsley, which will aid the development of its UK and European operations.
Lehui provides equipment packaging lines for the beer, spirits, whisky, beverage and dairy industries and has a production area of more 100,000sqm in China.
In 2014 Lehui acquired the intellectual property, assets of Leeds-based UK brewing supplier Microdat, allowing it to expand into keg and cask filling/washing lines, and complete its global craft brewing product line.
“Yorkshire has a proud industrial heritage and remains a major centre for manufacturing, engineering, and industry in the UK and across Europe,” said Ritchie Clarke, senior project manager at Lehui UK.
He added: “This makes Springfield Mills an ideal base for Lehui as we continue to develop our UK and European operations.”
Lehui UK will operate out of The Bostock Building, part of Gaunts Ltd’s Springfield Mills development in Farsley
Paul Curson, managing director at Gaunts Ltd, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lehui UK Ltd to The Bostock Building.
“They are an excellent addition to Springfield Mills, and we are pleased that our unit will play a part in their plans to expand and develop their UK operations.
“This letting shows the continued demand for quality, flexible space, and we look forward to supporting Lehui as their business grows.”
