“I have 25+ years experience in the hospitality sector, and 15 years of experience in the brewing sector in the UK and Australia. I have held a variety of roles at Ilkley Brewery since 2011, from sales manager through to MD, driving growth, managing challenges and above all remaining a beer evangelist. As well as my work at the brewery, I also own a growing number of pubs, manage a small team at home (5 kids!) and am Chief Towing Executive for my partner’s coffee-trailer business! I don’t like a quiet life!

The beer industry is one of the most dynamic, exciting and rewarding on the planet, and I’m passionate about making the world a better place, one beer at a time! Cask beer is central to Ilkley Brewery’s success over the years, notably with flagship beer Mary Jane, but I also believe it remains the route to success for pubs – in my pubs, cask is always the main attraction.”
